HOW CAMLOCUS WORKS

Turn Existing Cameras Into Your Branded Cloud Video Platform

Camlocus connects existing IP cameras and local video systems to a centralized cloud platform for live viewing, recording, alerts, playback and multi-site management.

Deliver the complete experience under your own logo and domain – without forcing customers to replace their existing cameras.

White-Label

Multi-Site

No Proprietary Cameras

One Platform Between the Camera and the Customer

Depending on the installation, Camlocus can connect directly to a compatible IP camera or receive live video, recordings and motion events from local software.

Camlocus then provides the cloud layer: centralized access, customer accounts, live view, recording, alerts, playback and multi-site management through your branded platform.

From Camera to Cloud in Three Steps

1. CONNECT CAMERAS OR LOCAL VIDEO SOFTWARE

Use direct RTSP, Blue Iris, FFmpeg or the Camlocus Cloud Device Adapter. Choose the method that fits the existing installation.

2. PROCESS VIDEO, MOTION AND AI WHERE IT MAKES SENSE

Use camera analytics or local software for motion and AI processing when required. Send the finished stream, event clips and available metadata to Camlocus.

3. DELIVER THE SERVICE UNDER YOUR BRAND

Give customers access to live cameras, cloud recordings, alerts and playback through a platform carrying your logo, domain and customer-facing identity

Connect the Setup You Already Use

DIRECT RTSP CAMERA

Connect a compatible IP camera directly using its RTSP stream.

Best for straightforward installations where local video processing software is not required.

BLUE IRIS OR LOCAL VMS

Use Blue Iris to send live video, continuous recordings and motion-triggered clips to Camlocus.

Local motion detection and AI processing can remain on the existing server.

FFMPEG STREAMING

Forward existing camera streams to Camlocus using FFmpeg on Windows, Linux or another supported system.

A flexible option for custom installations and automated streaming workflows.

CAMLOCUS CLOUD DEVICE ADAPTER

Install a local adapter to discover and connect cameras on the customer network without exposing those cameras directly to the internet.

The adapter can run on suitable local hardware or a virtual machine.
