RTSP
Directly connects to the camera using RTSP protocol.
Recommended for:
- direct IP camera connections
- ONVIF cameras
- local network streaming
Usually provides:
- best image quality
- lowest processing overhead
To configure RTSP streaming, navigate to Cameras > All and edit the required camera. Select RTSP as the video source, then provide valid RTSP URLs in the SD RTSP URL and HD RTSP URL fields. Save the changes to start streaming.
SD RTSP URL: Used for the camera’s standard-definition stream, which consumes less bandwidth and system resources.
HD RTSP URL: Used for the camera’s high-definition stream, which provides better video quality but requires more bandwidth and processing power.
A toggle button is available on the single camera page, allowing you to switch between the SD and HD streams based on your preferred video quality and bandwidth requirements.
