The goal is to keep streaming stable, reduce bandwidth usage, and make motion clips compatible with Camlocus.
Camera Short Name
Use Camlocus Camera ID in Blue Iris camera short name.
Format:

Replace 123 with the actual Camlocus Camera ID.

Use RTMPS Stream when continuous live view or 24/7 cloud recording is required.

Use FTP Video when motion events should appear in Camlocus Alerts.

If using CodeProject AI with Blue Iris, enable AI confirmation in Blue Iris alerts.

AI detection helps reduce false alerts and allows Camlocus to display detected object labels.
Performance Recommendations
Recommended:
- use sub-streams where possible
- use H.264 for compatibility
- avoid very high bitrate unless needed
- use direct-to-disk recording
- keep camera time synchronized
- avoid unnecessary resizing in Webcast settings
