This source is used to upload motion-based video clips from systems like Blue Iris or other NVRs, where recordings are triggered by events and automatically sent to the server. These events are also displayed in the Alerts section.

For dashboard preview, camlocus server extracts and displays a thumbnail from the latest uploaded video, typically using the last frame of the clip.

When enabled, camlocus server receives full video files via FTP. If transcoding is enabled, you can also control the output resolution and bitrate to optimize storage and playback performance.
